- CLIVE BOCK 1912 - 2007 After a brief illness, Clive passed away peacefully at St. Mary's General Hospital in Kitchener, on Sunday, August 12, 2007 in his 95th year. He had been happily retired at the Village of Winston Park for several years. Clive will be lovingly remembered by his nephews, Graham, Morison and Douglas and his niece Virginia (Ginny Pink), their spouses, Susan, Kathrine, Liz, and Paul and their children Leslie, Nicholas, Ted, Gavin, Hanna, Laura, Melanie, Lauren and Kara. Clive was predeceased by his parents, Nathaniel and Clara (Schwalm) and his brothers, Stanley, Roy and Donald and his sister, Mildred. Clive was a member of the Benton Street Baptist Church and regularly attended the chapel services at Winston Park. He served with the RCAF from 1942 to 1945 and was stationed in Dartmouth N.S. with the Maritime Command. Following his military service, he returned to the K-W area and began a career in sales with Sunshine Manufacturing, Orr Automobiles and Hartlieb Movers. Clive was an avid outdoorsman and traveled extensively in Canada and the US to enjoy the beauties of nature. Friends are invited to share their memories of Clive with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 from 10 to 11 am. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11 am, Tuesday. Following the service, a reception to celebrate Clive's life will be held at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. Condolences for the family and memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, to your favourite charity may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff and residents of Winston Park who made his stay there enjoyable and to the doctors and nurses at St. Mary's Hospital who attended to him in his final hours. A special note of thanks to Ron Pope for his kind dedication in his weekly visits to Clive over the past several years. In living memory of Clive, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
