  BATTLER, Ross L. - At Sunnyside Home, Kitchener on Saturday June 11, 1994 following a lengthy illness. Ross Lavern Battler aged 82 years of Kitchener. Mr. Battler was a member of Stanley Park United Brethren Church. Beloved husband of Florence (nee Becker). Dear father of Donna Scott of Kitchener, Garry and his wife June of Cambridge (G) and Roger and his wife Marjorie of Waterloo. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Heather Forbes and her husband Wayne, Kelly Scott, Terri Battler, Gwen Reis and her husband Mike, Jeffery and Tracy Battler and his 2 great-grandchildren Breanne and Bradley Forbes. Brother of Manson and his wife Bernice, Ivan and his wife Betty all of Kitchener, Reg and his wife Evelyn of Listowel and Mrs. Bertha Auckland of Ancaster. Predeceased by his parents Ervin and Lucinda Battler, 3 brothers Elmer, Lloyd, Ewart (1994), sister Ether and brother-in-law Bill Auckland (1994). Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. At noon Tuesday removal will be made to Stanley park United Brethren Church, 9 Deger Avenue, Kitchener, for funeral and Committal Service at 2 pm, Pastor Bob Cotie officiating. Interment Memory Gardens. Reception to follow at the Church. Memorial donations to the Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
