  BATTLER, Lloyd Ervin - At K-W Hospital, on Tuesday, April 11, 1989, Lloyd Battler, of 16 Cedarwoods Crescent, Kitchener, age 72 years. Mr. Battler was a member of Stanley Park United Brethren in Christ Church; a life member of the Waterloo Rod and Gun Club; a veteran of the Second World War and an employee with John A. Lang for 39 years, retiring in 1980. Beloved husband of Mabel (Cober); loving father of Marlene and Gerry Heimpel, Murray and Sandra Battler, all of Waterloo, Dianne and Ray MacDonald of Kitchener; dear brother of Ewart, Ross, Manson and Ivan, all of Kitchener, Reginald of Listowel and Bertha Auckland of Sarnia. Mr. Battler will be sadly missed by his 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Erwin and Lucinda Battler (Bock); one brother, Elmer and one sister, Ethel. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, today (Wednesday) from 7-9 p.m.; Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday until noon, when transfer will be made to Stanley Park United Brethren in Christ Church, where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Interment Rosebank cemetery, Rev.
