  BATTLER, Reginald Evan Reg went home peacefully to be with his Lord, with his wife Evelyn at his side, at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Cherished husband of Evelyn, adored and much loved uncle of 16 nieces and nephews and their families. Survived by sister-in-law Betty Battler. Predeceased by his parents Lucinda and Ervin, six brothers and two sisters. Reg was born and raised in Kitchener, and recently resided in Listowel. Reg's family will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. until 10: 45 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home chapel followed by a reception. Interment Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to North Perth Community Hospice or the Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
