    • Henry O. Duench of 196 Park St. died today at K-W Hospital after a brief illness. He was 81. Born in Linwood, Mr. Duench had been a resident of the Twin Cities for the past 50 years. He was employed as a shipper at Lang Tanning Co. Ltd. for 35 years. He retired in 1953. He was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Duench, two brothers, William and John, and a sister Mrs. August (Emma) Schlitter. Surviving besides his wife, the former Elizabeth Longthorne, whom he married in 1918 in Kitchener; are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Jean) Wilson of Kitchener; two sisters, Mrs. James (Minnie) Searles and Mrs. Albert (Lucy) Dechert, both of Kitchener, and a granddaughter. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where Very Rev. Finlay G. Stewart will conduct a service Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
