    • MARTIN, Mary W. (Mrs. Amon B.) - Peacefully, at St. Mary's Hospital, on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, Mary W. Martin of RR 1, Waterloo, born on January 16, 1916. Mother of Harvey and Annie B. Martin of RR 2, Elmira, Sylvanus and Lizzie Martin of RR 1, Waterloo, Eva and Melvin Bauman of RR 1, St. Clements, George and Almeda Martin of RR 1, Waterloo, Mary and Orlan R. Martin of RR 2, Mount Forest. Also survived by 19 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren, step-brothers and sisters, Mrs. Matilda Gingrich, Hannah and Moses Martin, Mrs. Barbara Weber, Clarence and Delphine Weber, Maryann and Edgar Martin, Cleason and Mary Weber, Anna and Emerson Martin. Predeceased by her parents, Henry and Hannah F. Bowman; step-mother, Annie F. Bowman; husband, Amon B. Martin (1983); daughter, Hannah (1992); three granddaughters; sister, Elvina (Edwin) Lichty; step-brother, Irvin (Lydia) Weber; two step-brothers-in-law, Ivan Gingrich and Manassa Weber. The family will receive friends and relatives at the home of George B. Martin, RR 1, Waterloo on Thursday, April 17 (today) from 9: 30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral services on Friday, April 18, at the home of George B. Martin at 9 a.m., then to Martins Meeting House, King Street North, Waterloo for burial, then further services in the adjoining meeting house. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira.
