  Obituary for Gloria Katherine Rabethge (Née Schmidt): The gates of Heaven opened wide and this special person walked inside, died peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Monday, September 11, 2017 in her 87th year. Loving wife of Ken. Loving mother of Terry Warner, Nancy (Al) Burgers, Jim Warner, Karen Hallman (Ben), Lynette (Russ) Blackwell, and step-daughter Terralene (Ron) Johnston. Loving grandmother of Michael Warner, Leslie Olaskey, Grant Hallman, Ryan Taylor and step-grandmother to Robert, Tyler, Krystalyn and Kieran Johnston. Great-grandma to five grandchildren. Gloria is survived by her brother Ward (Joanne) Schmidt, sisters, Claudine Koyich, Marie (Albert) Deichert and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters June, Joy and Marilyn, brothers Walter and Maurice. Mom was a very talented lady who was called "The Angel Lady". She crafted over a thousand angels out of basically nothing into a work of art, putting love in everyone. Mom also had a great sense of humour and will be greatly missed by all. Goodbye my family, my life is past. I loved you all to the very last. Weep not for me, but courage take. Love each other, for my sake. For those you loved don't go away.
