    • Found Dead in Bed

Mrs. Sarah Hastings, widow of the late Wm. Hastings, was found dead in bed at her home in Kitchener on Friday morning. She retired in seemingly perfect health and when called in the morning did not respond. Upon entering her room it was discovered that she was dead. Mrs. Hastings was formerly Miss Sarah Smith, and was born at Uxbridge, Ont., and was in her 67th year. After her marriage she lived for many years at Crosshill, Ont., where her husband was an extensive farmer, being one of the famous Hastings Brothers, prize stock producers. Her husband died about 4 years ago.
