SCHULTZ, Samuel N\emdashPeacefully, on Wednesday, April 28, 1993, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Samuel N. Schultz, of Nithview Home, New Hamburg, formerly of Wellesley.
Sam was born in Wellesley township 83 years ago, a son of the late Noah Schultz and the late Annie Nafziger. Mr. Schultz was a lifelong member of Mapleview Mennonite Church, where he served as Sunday school superintendent for many years. He was also a member of the London Rescue Mission (Mission Services of London) and served as a school trustee at Kingwood S.S. No. 7. He farmed at Kingwood from 1940-1980.
Beloved father of Ronald and his wife Beatrice Schultz of Millbank, Florence and her husband Norman Kehl of Stratford, Dennis and his wife Patricia Schultz of Linwood, Duane and his wife Sharon Schultz of New Hamburg; loving brother of William and his wife Jean Schultz of RR 1, Milverton, Sarah and her husband Samuel Jutzi of Tavistock, Katherine Schultz and her husband, the late Allan Schultz of Milverton, Elizabeth Bast and her husband the late Elvy Bast of Stratford, Laurene and her husband Emmanuel Albrecht of Palmerton; brother-in-law of Willa Schultz of Millbank. Ruth Schultz of Milverton and Lorne Albrecht of Wellesley. He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Yvonne Schultz, Wanda and her husband James Poole, Cheryl and her husband Jess Duncan, Cynthia and Stephen Kehl, Sheila, Carrie, Kimberly Schultz and Graeme and Melaine and Scott Schultz; great-grandpa to Samuel Duncan and Justin Poole.
Predeceased by his wife, the former Beatrice Schultz (June 2, 1989) and also by four brothers, David Schultz, Christian and his wife Rena Schultz, John Schultz and Nelson Schultz and by three sisters, Lena, Mary and Emma Albrecht.
Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St. Wellesley, where the family will receive friends this evening (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon Saturday, May 1 removal will be made to the Mapleview Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m. Pastor Victor Dorsch will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mapleview Mennonite Cemetery.
