  BURKHART, Elam S. - Peacefully, on Thursday, November 16, 2006, at his home, RR 1, St. Clements, Elam S. Burkhart, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Adah (Bauman) Burkhart. Father of Moses and Erla Burkhart of RR 1, St. Clements, Elo Burkhart and Mary Burkhart, both of RR 3, Listowel, John and Lena Burkhart of RR 3, Wallenstein, Eva and Sidney Weber of RR 1, Linwood, Viola and Sidney Martin of RR 1, St. Clements, Ellen and Samuel Bowman of RR1 Wallenstein. Also survived by 25 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the home of Sidney and Viola Martin, Saturday (today) and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday morning, November 20 at 8: 30 a.m., then to the Linwood Mennonite Meeting House for further service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
