- Mrs. Jack McRobb, 50 Gordon Ave., died Sunday at K-W Hospital suddenly of a heart attack. She was 59.
The former Gladys Hahn, she was born at Yatton, a daughter of Mrs. Leo Hahn of Elmira and the late Mr. Hahn.
She had been a resident of the Twin Cities for the past 13 years and was a member of St. Anne's RC Church. She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 50, the Silver Cross Mothers and the Kitchener Lawn Rowling Club.
Mrs. MeRobb had been employed by the federal government for the past 31 years and for the past 10 years, had been with the local taxation office.
She was predeceased by her husband, killed in action in Italy during the Second World War in 1944 and by a brother. Clarence
Surviving are one son, James Dartmouth, N.S.; three brothers, Elmer, Kitchener Stanley, Waterloo, and William Elmira; six sisters, Edith, Mrs Clarence (Rita) Barrie, Mrs Robert (Grace) Boyd, Mrs Charles (Mary) Cassidy and Mrs. Jerome (Catherine) Gagney, all of Kitchener, and Mrs Howard (Margaret) Mayer, Waterloo, and one granddaughter.
The body will be at the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home after p.m. Tuesday where the rosary will be recited Wednesday at p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Thursday at 10:30 a.m. followed by funeral mass at St. Anne's RC Church at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in Woodland cemetery. Donations to the Ontario Heart Foundation will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
