    • Killed In Italy May 26, while in action with the Perth Regiment. was Cpl. John Raymond Melkobh, 33, a veteran of the African campaign Enlisting when war broke out, Cpl. McRobh went overseas in October.. 1941. Born in St. Marys, he attended school there His wife. Mrs. Gladys McRobb, lives with her 12 year old son Jim, at 39 Alhambra Ave. Mr. and Mrs. H R. McRobh, Cpl. MeRobb's patents, live in Windsor.

      "We had a letter from his captain in which he said that John was leading his company to meet enemy action when he and several companions were instantly killed. He is buried in an orchard near where he lost his life, but will eventually be interred in a Canadian cemetery. So said Mrs. Gladys McRobb. Alhambra Ave., wife of Cpl. John Raymond McRobb. 33. Perth Regiment, killed in Italy May 26. Mrs. McRobb, who has been engaged in war work ever since her husband went overseas, said that he had been in the Perth regiment since he was 13. and had his long service medal and bar. He went active two days after war broke out. He leaves a son, Jimmy. 12. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. R. McRobb, live in Windsor.
