- GERBER, Noah W. -- Of Route 1, Millbank, passed away Saturday, December 16, at his home. He was born in Wellesley Township, 72 years ago, son of the late Joseph R. Gerber and the late Mary Gerber. He farmed in Wellesley Township and he was ordained to the Ministry November 26, 1945, serving at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church until his death. Beloved husband of the former Fannie Jantzi; dear father of Joseph of Route 1, Millbank and Esther (Mrs. Norman Wagler) of Route 2, Wellesley, Edna (Mrs. Morris Nafziger) of Route 1, Brunner and Mary Ellen of Route 1, Millbank; brother of Ezra and Emanuel, both of Route 1, Millbank, Barbara (Mrs. John J. Jantzi) of Route 1, Wellesley, Nancy (Mrs Amos Jantzi) of Route 2, Wellesley, Katie (Mrs. Sam Jantzi) of Route 1 Millbank, Tina (Mrs. Dan W. Erb) of Route 1, Milverton; also predeceased by one sister, Mary. Visitation at the home of his son, Joseph, Route 1, Millbank, after 2 p.m. Sunday. Family service will be conducted at the home on Tuesday, December 19, at one p.m. followed by funeral service at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. Bishop Arthur Gerber officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
