Katie was formerly of New Hamburg and was born in Wellesley township 83 years ago, a daughter of the late John B. and Barbara (Gascho) Leis. She was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, RR 2, Baden, where she was formerly active in the WMSC. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Lebold who predeceased her August 27, 1964. Loving mother of Grace and her husband Delford Zehr, Marie and her husband Clare Jantzi, all of London, Ralph and his wife Eileen of Waterloo, Harold and his wife Karen of Hanover, Clare and his wife Gloria of Fort Erie. Ever remembered by 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one brother, Ervin of Wellesley; three sisters-in-law, Idella Leis of Stratford, Viola Leis of Baden and Beatrice Leis of Wellesley. Katie was predeceased by her step-mother, Sarah Steinman; one son, Floyd (1948); one grandson, Dennis (1991); five brothers and eight sisters. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, today (Wednesday) 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and until noon on Thursday, Jan. 19, 1995.
