  KOEBEL, Helen (nee Straus) - Passed away, at Central Park Lodge, Kitchener, on Monday, March 2, 1998, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Koebel. Loving mother of Willie Koebel and his wife Joan of St. Clements, Grace Dietrich and her husband Howard of St. Agatha, Leonard Koebel and his wife Sharon, of Waterloo, Marlene Curtis husband Tom of Toronto, Bernard Koebel and his wife Judy of Kitchener, Edward Koebel and his wife, Iva of Mitchell, Paul Koebel and his wife, Jodie of St. Clements and Roy Koebel and his wife Patricia of Mitchell. Proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 17 great children. Predeceased by her daughter, Janet and granddaughter, Tammy and also by her brothers, Rupert Straus and Rev. Claude Straus CR and her sisters, Amanda Stoesser, Frances Hinschberger, Hilda Straus and Jolenta Straus. Helen's family will receive friends and relatives at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clements RC Church at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Clements RC Cemetery. Memorial donations to the St. Clements RC Church Building Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
