      Wagler, Jonas \endash On Friday, Feb. 18, 1994, at his residence, Nithview Home, New Hamburg, Jonas Wagler, formerly of New Hamburg and Parkhill.

      He was born in Wellesley township 84 years ago, a son of the late John and Lydia (Brenneman) Wagler. He was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, RR 2, Baden. Jonas and his late wife, Laura had been involved in Prison Ministries and was a member and supporter of Truck Stop Evangelism Ministries. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors as his hobbies.

      Beloved husband of Laura Wagler who predeceased him February 22, 1993.Loving father of Myrtle and her husband Robert Davies of London, Elaine and her husband Abe Stouffer of Woodville, Delores and her husband Daniel Euler, MaryLou and her husband Claude Phaneuf, all of Morinville, Alta. Sadly missed by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Solomon Wagler of Gordonville, Pa.; one sister, Veronica (Mrs. Daniel Albrecht) of RR 1, Newton. Jonas will fondly be remembered by a number of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. He was predeceased by two brothers, Daniel and William in infancy; three sisters, Alif (Mrs. Joseph Schmidt), Lydia (Mrs. Nick Schmidt) and Dorothy ( Mrs. Samuel Steckly).

      Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg today (Saturday) 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, Feb 21, 1994 at noon transfer will be made to Steinmann Mennonite Church for the service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Gordon Bauman and Pastor Gerald Schwartzentruber officiating. Spring interment in Steinmann Mennonite Cemetery.

      As expressions of sympathy, donations will be made to Gideon Bibles or Steinmann Mennonite Church.
