A recipient of the prestigious Canadian Heritage Award, Clare's quick wit and love of history were evident in his volunteer work at Castle Kilbride and in the high regard he received throughout North America for his knowledge of antique tools and watches. Beloved husband of the late Joy Marion (Levere) Miller, who predeceased him April 15, 1997. Loving father of James Clare and his wife Marlene Anne Miller of Baden. Sadly missed by grandsons, Ryan and fiancée Megan, Ethan and Justin.
