Beloved husband of the late Esther Despond; dear father of Nancy Ruth Martin and her husband Paul Provencal of High River, Alta.; lovingly remembered by three grandchildren, Debora, John and Wendy Pigeon and one great-granddaughter, Pascale; six step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty (Mrs. Rod Fisher) of Cambridge. Predeceased by two brothers, Clair of Guelph and Ross I. of Cambridge. Mr. Martin was born in Cambridge (Galt) and lived in Cambridge, all his life. He is the former owner/operator of Manchester Products Ltd. of Cambridge (G). The family will receive friends at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd, Cambridge, Tuesday (today), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home, Wednesday, Dec. 7, 1988, at 1: 30 p.m. Interment Mountview cemetery, Cambridge.
