- Wagler, Samuel R. - Peacefully, on Monday, July 20, 1992 at Stratford General Hospital, Samuel R. Wagler, of Country Meadows Retirement Home, Brunner, formerly of Queen Street West, Wellesley.
Mr. Wagler was born in Kingwood 84 years ago. He was a son of the late Noah Wagler and the late Veronica Roth. He was a member of the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley township. He had farmed in Wellesley township, retiring to Wellesley in 1973.
Beloved husband of Leah (Lebold) of Brunner Nursing Home. Dear brother of Christ Wagler of Nithview Home, New Hamburg, Allan and his wife Emma Wagler of Millbank, Matilda (Mrs. Ezra Erb) of Hillside Nursing Home, Sebringville and Lydia and her husband Lloyd Zehr of RR 1 Millbank.
He was predeceased by two sons, John and Irvin and also by one daughter in infancy; by one sister, Clara Wagler; a sister-in-law, Katie Wagler and a brother-in-law, Ezra Erb.
Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A family service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 22 at 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service at Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church at 2 p.m. John Zehr and Mahlon Gerber will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorials to Christian Printing Missions, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy for the late Samuel Wagler.
