    • Albert C. Becker

      Albert C. Becker of Wellesley died suddenly Sunday at his home. He was 89.

      Born in Wellesley, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Becker. He lived in Kitchener before returning to Wellesley about 12 years ago. He was a member of First St. Paul s Lutheran Church, Wellesley.

      He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Mary Schaefer, in 1945, and by his second wife, the former Elizabeth White, in 1955. He was also predeceased by a son, a daughter and three sisters.

      Surviving are a son, John, of Vancouver and three step-sons, George Cunningham of Toronto, Charles Cunningham of Clinton, and Harold Cunningham of Kitchener, two daughters, Mrs. John (Margaret) Knowles of Lansing, Mich., and Mrs. Frederick (Edna) Schlipping of Waterloo, and two step-daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Rosella) Rooney of RR 4, Brussels, and Mrs. Frank (Isabel) Hunt of Seaforth; a sister, Mabel, of Wellesley, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

      Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Futher Brothers Funeral Home, Rev. Irwin Pudrycki officiating.

      Temporary entombment will be in the church cemetery chapel with spring burial in the church cemetery.
