- BAUMAN, Magdalena (Mrs. Rufus) - Peacefully, went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Magdalena (Gingrich) Bauman, in her 82nd year, of Hawkesville. Beloved wife of Rufus Bauman for almost 60 years. Loving mother of Gordon and Dianne Bauman of Floradale, Verna and Clarence Frey of Listowel, Clare and Grace Bauman of Floradale, Lorna and Laverne Martin of Hawkesville, Viola and Nelson Weber of RR 1, Atwood and Ron Bauman of Hawkesville. Fondly remembered by her 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Sister of Lydian Horst of RR 1, Elmira. Predeceased by her parents, Addison and Mary (Martin) Gingrich; two brothers, Noah and Sidney Gingrich and one sister, Salome Martin. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, on Friday, May 7, 2004, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2004, transfer will be made to the Wallenstein Bible Chapel, for funeral service at 10: 30 a.m., followed by interment in the Hawkesville Cemetery.In her memory, donations to the New Tribes Mission Canada, would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
