  Amos Snyder, "was born May 14th, 1824. on December 31st, 1844, he was married to Catharine, daughter of Isaac and Mary (Clemens) Master. She was born August 3rd, 1826, and died at Sourisford, Man., February 24th, 1886. They resided near Preston many years, thence moved to Oxford County, Ontario, and when old they, in May 1880, moved to Manitoba" Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
