  MARTIN, Edwin W. - On Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, Edwin went home to be with the Lord, peacefully, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in his 88th year.Beloved husband of the late Susannah Martin (1998). Loving father of Clifford and Lois of Bancroft, Violet and Abner Gingrich, Paul and Eileen, all of Elmira, Vera and Eugene Bauman of Bancroft, Mervin and Vera of Elmira, Verda and David Martin of Gowanstown and Stanley and Doris of Elmira. Missed by 27 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Brother of Mary Ann Wideman, Ervin and Susannah, Enoch, Herman and Minerva, Lovina Bearinger and Amsey and Leona.Predeceased by his parents, Enoch and Elizabeth (Weber) Martin, his sister Leah and his brother Moses.Visitation was held at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Sunday from 2-9 p.m. and continuing on Monday (today) at his home, RR4, Elmira after 1 p.m. where family service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005 at 9 a.m. then to Elmira Mennonite Meeting House for further public service and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
