- Mrs. Fannie Leis - Wellesley
Mrs. Fannie Leis, age 45, widow of Christian Leis of Milverton, died at her home Friday afternoon after an illness of twelve months. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel B. O. Schmidt, deceased was born in Jan. 1894, in Wellesley township. Mrs. Leis was a member of the Maple View Amish Mennonite church, Wellesley. Surviving are two sons, Lorne and Lloyd at home, one daughter, Emma at home, one sister, Mrs. Solomon Bast of Milverton. The funeral services were held on Monday from the residence to Maple View Amish Mennonite church, Wellesley, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Samuel Schultz officiated.
