  HACKETT, Elvira At St. Joseph's Continuing Care Unit, Guelph, Friday, Feb. 1, 1991, Elvira Bast, in her 64th year, beloved wife of the late Walter Hackett. Dear mother of Ronald and Patricia of Hawkesville, Arthur and Ellen of North Gower and Carolyn and Fred Blackstone of Fergus. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Edna Gerber, Helena Miller, Erma Gerber, Esther Jantzi and brothers, Harvey, Emmerson and Robert Bast. Predeceased by brothers, William, Lloyd and Allan and a sister, Idella. The family will receive friends at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home and Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service and committal will be held in the chapel, Monday, Feb. 4, 1991, at 3: 30 p.m. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Centre.
