  MARTIN, David F. - Peacefully, at home with his family by his side,on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, in his 80th year, of Floradale. Beloved husband for 58 years of Venerva (Burkhart) Martin. Dear father of Margaret and Garry Legate, Gerald and Jeannette Martin, Doris and Jim Herbison, Keli Shirley Martin, Roy Martin and Frank Ripplinger. Lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren, Cheryl, Tammy, Michelle, Cindy, Teresa, Loretta,Laura and Donna and his 11great-grandchildren, Rachael, Nick, Morgan,Candice, Mercedes, Beverly, Travis, Kaitlyn, Jesse, Zachary and Bailey. Brother of Susannah and Elo Bauman, Melinda and Urias Martin, Mary Ann and Moses Martin, Sarah and Henry Brubacher.Predeceased by his parents,Elias and Leavea (Frey) Martin and his brother Jesse.The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira(today) Saturday, Jan. 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 12 noon on Sunday transfer will be made to Floradale Mennonite Church for a memorial service at 2: 30 p.m., with Pastor Fred Redekop officiating. The casket will remain open in the church until 2: 15 p.m. Family interment in Floradale Mennonite Cemetery.
