  MARTIN, Venerva (Mrs. David F.) - Peacefully, at her daughter's home in Kitchener, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, Venerva (Burkhart) Martin, in her 87th year, of Floradale.Beloved wife of the late David F. Martin (January 15, 2004). Dear mother of Margaret and Garry Legate of Kitchener, Gerald and Jeannette Martin of Edmonton, Doris and Jim Herbison of Elmira, Keli Shirley Martin of Quebec, Roy Martin and Frank Ripplinger of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Cheryl Legate, Tammy (Todd) Wilder, Michelle Legate, Cindy (Nick) Legate, Teresa Herbison, Loretta (Will) Wright, Laura Love, Donna Love and by her 12 great-grandchildren, Rachael, Nick (Chantelle), Morgan, Candice, Mercedes, Beverly, Travis, Kaitlyn, Jessie, Zachary, Bailey and Avery. Dear sister of Orvie and Naomi Burkhart, Eli and Ruth Burkhart, Elmer Burkart, Walter and Grace Burkhart and Diane Burkhart. Predeceased by her parents, Simeon and MaryAnn (Bauman) Burkhart; two brothers, Lorne and Amsey Burkhart and one sister-in-law, Mary Burkhart.The family will receive friends and relatives at the Floradale Mennonite Church, 22 Florapine Road, Floradale on Friday, March 16 (today) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at the Floradale Mennonite Church on Saturday, March 17 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Fred Redekop officiating. The casket will remain open in the church on Saturday until 10: 45 a.m. Interment Floradale Mennonite Cemetery. In her memory, donations to Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
