    • LEYES. Norbert John - his late residence, 39 Bluevale St. N., Waterloo. as the result of a heart attack, on Monday, June 18, age 66 years, Norbert Leyes.

      A member of St Agnes RC Church, the Waterloo Knights of Columbus, Council 5135; the Waterloo Legion, Branch 530 and the 20 Year Club of B.F. Goodrich Canada Ltd. A retired employee of B.F. Goodrich Canada Ltd_, serving for 44 years. was the son of the late Alphonse Leyes and Mary Hoffman.

      Surviving is his wife, the former. Elizabeth Banler? two sons, John Michael of Ottawa and Norbert Francis (Buddy) of Erbsville, four daughters, Joanne (Mrs. Ian Pirie) of Kitchener. Joyce (Mrs. James Hartman) of Elmira, Janine (Mrs. William Loth) of Waterloo. Jane. at home. two brothers. Jerry and Francis and two sisters. Marie (Mrs. Carl Martz), and Genevieve (Mrs. William Nauman) all of Kitchener: four grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Leyes and Tara and Michelle Hallman. Predeceased by one son, Joseph in infancy and one sister, Dorothy Kane.

      Visitation at Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St., Kitchener. after 7 p.m. tonight. Parish vigil service. Wednesday at 8 p.m. followed by the Waterloo Knights of Columbus Scripture service at 8:30 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Thursday, June 21. at 9:30, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Agnes RC church, Waterloo, at 10 a.m., Rev, T. G. Gerharz, SAC, officiating. Interment to follow in Parkview cemetery.
