  COOK, William G. Sr. - Peacefully, on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, with family by his side, at London Health Science Centre. William George Cook, of Wellesley and formerly of North Easthope township. Bill was born in North Easthope 80 years ago. Son of the late William J.D. Cook and the late Barbara Schmidt. He was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where he served his church as a councillor and Sunday School teacher. He was also a member of Lutheran Laymen's League. Bill farmed in North Easthope township, retiring in 1989. Loving husband of Mary (Dietz) Cook of Wellesley for 54 years. Dear father of Barbara and her husband Dave Miesel of RR2, Baden, Margaret and her husband Bryon Rieck of: Gadshill, William and his wife Beverley Cook of Wellesley, David and his wife Judith Cook of Kitchener, Paul Cook of Wellesley, Mark and his wife Tanya Cook of Stratford. Dear brother of Lloyd and Glayds Cook of Stratford, Mildred and Ernest Rose of Stratford, Walter and Elinor Cook of RR1, Gadshill, Ralph and Vi Cook of Stratford, brother-in-law of Shirley Nowack of Rostock. Loving Grandpa of Karla and Jeremy Rieck, Jessica and Billy Cook, Amy, Tim, Stephen Cook, Stephen and Joshua, Frank, Tilysa, Travis, Tyler and Tanner Cook. Great- Grandpa of Jayden and Riley Cook- Reiner and Emma Cook. Lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters- in-law, Harry and Betty Berlet, Robert (Murray) Leitch, Robert and Marilyn Dietz, William and Dianne Dietz Predeceased by a son Peter 1968, by two brothers Wilfred and Nelson Cook, by a sister, Beatrice Nowack, brothers- in-law Richard Nowack and sisters-in- law Jean Cook and Ruth Leitch. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St., Wellesley today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at First St. Paul's Church on Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastor Andy Schroth will officiate.
