- LOTZ, Mrs. Albert W. (Hester)
At the K-W Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 8, 1980, Hester Kelterborn, age 73 years of 250 Mary St., Waterloo. Mrs. Lotz was born in Wellesley and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kelterborn.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo, a former executive board member of the Lutheran Church Women of the Lutheran Church in America, past president of the Synodical Unit of the Lutheran Church Women and was instrumental in establishing women's retreats in the Eastern Canada Synod.
Survived by her husband Rev. Dr. Albert W. Lotz; two daughters, Kathryn (Mrs. Eric Weber) of Waterloo, Barbara (Mrs. William D. Huras) of Kitchener; sister of Blanche (Mrs. Alex Brick) of Kitchener. Also survived by seven grandchildren, Stephen, Timothy, Tammy and Krista Weber, and David, Matthew and Andrea Huras. She was predeceased by one brother Royal and one sister Mrs. Hilaire Grahm.
Mrs. Lotz's family received friends at the Edward R. Good funeral Home, Waterloo until Wednesday at 2 pm when removal was made to St. John's Lutheran Church for funeral service at 3: 30 pm. Rev. A.L. Conrad and Rev. Roy Grosz, secretary of the Eastern Canada Synod officiated. Interment followed in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Wellesley.
