Notes |
- MICHALOFSKY, Esther Sarah - Peacefully entered her eternal rest on April 20, 2006, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Free from pain at last and in the presence of her Lord. She was born December 28, 1917 to Kay Kinsman White and Ada Belle Haynes. Loving wife of Gerald Michalofsky (married June 3, 1939). He predeceased her in 1973. Cherished mother of Janet and her husband Allan Cowan. She was a beautiful example of a truly loving, tender hearted Christian woman who loved and accepted unconditionally all who shared her earthly journey. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she was so proud of will miss "Little Gramma" so very much. She leaves behind her much loved sister May Bradshaw and her family. She was predeceased by five siblings. Being a person who always thought of others first we know that she would want to have thanked all who loved and supported her throughout these many years, dear friends especially Helen and Carol, care workers form the Community Health Services, extended family members, also Dr. Norris for his compassionate longtime care. She felt very blessed to have so many people who assisted in any way that made the world a better place to be. A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, 306 Erb St. W., Waterloo, on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 12: 30 p.m. Pastor Robert Snell officiating. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau. A visitation period will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family and may be arranged by contacting David MacLeod Funeral Home, 617 King St. N., Waterloo. 519-888-7700.
