- Isaac B. Burkholder, "the second son of Daniel and Elizabeth (Erb) Burkholder, was born June 19th, 1841. In August, 1862, he was married to Harriet, daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Bowers) Eby. She was born October 10, 1846. They resided on his father's farm, situated near New Germany, being composed of lot No. 72, German Company's Tract, until his death which took place September 23, 1872. They have had a family of four children"
