  DUENCH, Evelyn Emma - At St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph, April 8, 2005. Last surviving daughter of John and Emily Schaefer. Evelyn was born in West Zorra, May 14, 1908. Predeceased by her husband, Milton in 1952. Beloved mother of Carolyn Bates (John) of Guelph. Dear grandmother of Jamie (Sherri) of Halifax and Sarah (Jeff) of Kingston. Special friend of Gertrude DeHaan. Evelyn lived most of her life in Waterloo and was a long time employee of the former Dominion Life. Evelyn became a "little legend" in her own lifetime. She had great wit, strength and faith, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A special thanks to our adopted family, our friends and staff at St. Joe's. "Duty lets us do things well, but love lets us do things beautifully." A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 210 Silvercreek Pkwy.
