    • A native of Wellesley, Rev. John Neeb who retired from active ministry in the Lutheran Church to settle in Detroit, died yesterday at Detroit. He was 75. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Neeb of Wellesley, Rev. Mr. Neeb held many pastorates in both the United States and Canada before retiring five years ago. At the time of his retirement he was pastor of the Salem Lutheran Church, Springville, N. Y. Prior to that he held churches in Minnesota, Augsburg, Ont., Delhi and Pennsylvania. Rev. Mr. Neeb was predeceased by four brothers, George, Henry, Edward and Eckhardt, and two sisters, Mary and Catharine. Besides his widow (nee Lydia Rohfritsch) he is survived by three sons, Walter, Kitchener; Rev. Victor, New York, and Prof Martin of Chicago; two daughters, Miss Esther Neeb, Detroit, and Mrs. William (Hilda) Chamberlain, Flint, Mich. Two brothers, Valentine, Mitchell, and Jacob, Detroit, also survive, also one sister, Mrs. Edward (Emma) Koch, Tavistock. There are eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday in Detroit and burial will be in the Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park here.
