  	Stauffer, Gordon Henry Private. He was attached to the 108th Regiment and enlisted with the 118th Battalion at Kitchener, November 10, 1915. He was born in Canada and is the son of Daniel R. Stauffer, Plattsville, Ontario. He was killed in action at Passchendaele. Presbyterian. Born June 11, 1889 at the home farm at Chesterfield. He was educated at the school near by and later at the Euler Business College. He was employed at the Dominion Bank Baden and transferred to Kitchener in the spring of 1915. He went overseas with the 118th Battalion and transferred to the 1st Canadian Battalion. He saw active service in France until he was instantly killed by a shell on November 6, 1917 at Passchendaele.
