    • KOHL, Stanley - Suddenly, on Friday, Dec. 19, 1997, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Stanley Hohl of New Hamburg.

      He was born in Wilmot township 81 years ago, a son of the late George and Maud (Barker) Hohl. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg. Stan retired from Kaufman Footwear, Kitchener and had been a former New Hamburg Town Councillor. He was a member of the Horseshoe Ontario Hall of Fame and was active in softball and hockey in his youth.

      Beloved husband of Evelyn Rabethge, whom he married June 26, 1943 in Kitchener. Loving father of Sharon and her husband Gerry Gross of Waterloo, Dennis and his wife Mary of New Hamburg, Bruce of New Hamburg, Brenda of Guelph and Darlene and her husband Ross Hallman of Baden; special grandpa to Melissa and her husband Jason, Jessica. Debbie, Doug. Diana, David, Danielle. Adam and Marc: dear brother of Catherine Seyler and brother-in-law of Hilda Hold.

      Predeceased by a brother Elmer: a sister Alma and her husband Nelson Doering and a brother-in-law, Edgar Sevier.

      Friends and relatives called on Sunday and may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home. 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1997. transfer will be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg for the service at 11 a.m. with Pastors Judi Harris and Andre Lavergne presiding. Burial to follow in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Kitchener.
