    • GEIGER, Arlen (Arlie)\emdashPeacefully, at St. Mary's Hospital on Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999, Arlen (Arlie) Geiger, age 69 years, of Kitchener.
      A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church (Bridgeport), he was Past Master of the Waterloo Masonic Lodge No. 539 AF and AM and a member of the Shrine Mocha Temple. Arlie was employed with Orr Automobiles for many years until his retirement and also was a member of the Bridgeport Vets Hockey Club for some years.
      Beloved husband and best friend of Phyllis Geiger (nee Fries); loving father of Catherine and her husband Dale Kennedy of Waterloo; dear grandfather of Dawn and Mike Zuber, Deb and Phil Panchaud and great-grandfather of Alanna and Samantha. Brother of Ruby Searth and her husband Albert of Waterloo. Also surviving are his nephew, Tom Searth and his wife Terri and his niece, Karen Mann and her husband Garth, all of Calgary, Alta. Brother-in-law of Murray Fries, Elaine and Bud Geffros, Wib and Shirley, Earl and Jackie, Joyce and Ron Hutchings, Ross and Carla, Doug and Shirley, Gary and Lorrayne, Molly and Shirley Fries. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents.
      Friends and relatives may call at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kit, this evening (Monday), from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon Wednesday, transfer will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church (Bridgeport), 544 Bridgeport Rd., Kitchener for funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev. Barry Boeckner will officiate. Interment Parkview Cemetery Waterloo. Reception to follow at the church.
      Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
      There will be a Masonic memorial service under the auspices of Waterloo Lodge No. 539, on Tuesday, 6:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
