  Salome Burkholder, "second daughter of Christian Burkholder, was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, September 11th, 1817, and died at Waterloo, December 1st, 1844, leaving one daughter, Lovina, who was born February 19th, 1841, and died May 8th, 1891. The daughter was married to Benjamin S. Snyder" Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
