  Mrs. August Holzschuh of Linwood died Monday at the K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 83. The former Minnie Axt, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Axt. She was born in Peel Township in 1886. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Linwood, and a charter member of the Lutheran Church Women. Her husband predeceased her in 1956. Surviving are two sons, Lawrence of Wasaga Beach and Elwood of Kitchener; two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Frieda) Kreutzweiser of Stratford and Mrs. Verna Koenig of Kitchener; three sisters, Mrs. Edmon Holzschuh and Mrs. Herman Schlueler, both of Linwood and Mrs. Walter Main of Kitchener; a brother, Walter of Preston; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until 10: 30 a.m. today. The service was at St. Peter's Church, Linwood at 2;30 p.m. Burial will be in the Lutheran cemetery, Linwood, Rev. Eric Griebling will officiate. Elmira Signet 11 Feb 1970 pg 2
