Mrs. Frederick Diebold of Waterloo. sister or Mrs. Cletus (Magdalene) Kelly of New Hamburg and Mrs. Wilfred (Kathleen) Walters and Mrs. Edgar (Helen) McTavish, both of Linwood was killed last Thursday when hit by a car on King Street in Waterloo.
Born in Linwood Feb. 21. 1905, Mrs. Diebold was the former Nora Koebel, a daughter of Mrs. Anthony Koebel. Linwood. and the late Mr. Koebel. She was married to Mr. Diebold in Waterloo on October 9, 1931.
The deceased was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. Waterloo; the Catholic Women's League; League of the Sacred Heart and The Companion.
Besides her three sisters she is survived by one daughter. Mrs. Ronald (Helen) Berger. Waterloo; two brothers, Joseph of Linwood and Donald of Brantford; two other sisters. Mrs. Sylvester (Marie) Gruber of Waterloo and Mrs. Ralph (Monica) Kunkel of Kitchener and one grandchild.
Requiem mass was held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Monday, Rev Donald Curtis officiating.
Interment took place in Waterloo Mount Hope cemetery.
