- The 1901 Berlin Census clearly has Bertha's birth date as 15 Aug though the typed version has the 16 which is in error.

Mrs.Bertha Neeb, 70, of 120 Ontario St. South, died Sunday at K-W . Hospital after a lengthy illness.
A daughter of Mrs. August Smith of Kitchener and the late Mr: Smith, she was born in Kitchener, Aug. 15, 1891 a life long Kitchener resident she was proprietor of the Neeb Plumbing and Heating Company. A member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, she was predeceased by her, husband, Henry E. Neeb Feb. 2, 1955.
She is survived by one son, Milton of Kitchener; one brother, Charles Smith of Kitchener and grandchildren. The body if at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. by Rev. F. W. Zincic. Burial will be in St.1 Peter's Lutheran Cemetery with temporary entombment Woodland Mausoleum.
