  After a brief illness, Mrs. Valentine Neeb, 61, of 753 Queen St. South, died Thursday at the K-W Hospital. Born Maria Schmidt, July 20, 1896, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schmidt of Baden. She was a resident of Kitchener for the past 34 years and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She married Valentine Neeb, who survives, in 1924 at Hampstead, Ont. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Cloyce (Gertrude) Toman of Irving, Tex.; Mrs. Arno (Helen) Schafer, Mrs. Donald (Audrey) Kuehl, and Mrs. Sherwood (Mary) Hunter, all of Kitchener, two brothers, Alfred Schmidt of Kitchener and Harry Schmidt of Milverton; two sisters, Mrs. William Cook, of Gadshill and Mrs. Fred Reidt of Waterloo; and three grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Edith Margetts, predeceased her. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until Saturday at 3 p.m. when removal will be made to St. Paul's Church where friends may pay their respects until the time of the service at 4 p.m. Rev.
