  Nancy Snyder, "was born April 30th, 1830. On October 30th, 1849, she was married to Aaron Clemens who died March 21st, 1888. " Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ______________ Died. At the Residence of her son-in-law, Dr. W.L. Hilliard, Erb Street, Waterloo, on the 4th of October, 1897, Nancy Snider, wife of the late Aaron Clemens, Aged 67 Years, 5 Months and 4 Days. The Funeral will take place on Wednesday, October 6th, 1897. There will be a short service at the house at 12 o'clock; thence to Warner's [sic] Church, near Hespeler, for service at 3 p.m. Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation. Waterloo, Oct. 4th, 1897. Funeral Card __________ The late Mrs Aaron Clemens, whose husband predeceased her, and who died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs (Dr.) Hilliard, was married in 1849, her name being Nancy Snider. Mr and Mrs Clemens resided at Fisher's Mills, near Hespeler, where the husband died in 1888. A family of several children are left to mourn the loss of a kind and devoted mother, viz: Rebecca, married to John A Markle, of Birtle, Man; Elizabeth, married to Jacob Solon, of Bay City, Mich.; David S., of Guelph; Mary Jane, married to Alfred Ellis, near Kossuth; Margaret, unmarried, residiug at Guelph; Ida, married to Dr William L Hilliard, of Waterloo, and John S., of Birtle, Man.
