- BEARINGER, Marjorie Aileen Marjorie passed away at Sunnyside Home on Sunday, July 20, 2014, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by her husband Urias (Riley) Bearinger (1976) and her brother Donald Martin (1970). Marjorie is lovingly remembered by her sister Pauline Bast (Howard) as well as many nieces and nephews. Marjorie and Riley loved to travel and enjoyed numerous trips throughout Canada and the United States. While living in St. Catharines for many years, they owned and operated a very popular fish and chip restaurant. After moving back to Kitchener in 1972, Marjorie worked at Jerry's Canteen for 13 years and retired from there. The family of Marjorie would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff at Sunnyside Home, especially Three Bridges for their consistently loving and dedicated care of Marjorie over the years. Friends are invited to share memories of Marjorie with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, July 25, 2014 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral service to celebrate her life and faith will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, July 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Nancy Brubaker officiating. Reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room. Private family interment will be held in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Condolences for the family and donations to the Mennonite Central Committee or the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario may be arranged through the funeral home www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
