  • Notes
    • Much sympathy is felt for Mr. Pommer in the sad bereavement in the sad death of his beloved wife, who quietly and peacefully passed away on Monday evening, July 28th, after an illness of several months, aged 63 years.

Deceased was a highly respected citizen and widely known by her genial disposition. She was born near Bloomingdale, where her parents resided. In March 1872 she was married to Mr. Henry Pommer, of Mornington, where they resided until they moved to Linwood some ten years ago. She leaves to mourn her loss, her aged father, Mr. Geo. Eberwiine, a sorrowing husband and three sisters, Mrs. Louis Pommer, of Toronto, Mrs. Jos. Ament and Mrs. Frank Ament, both of Linwood. Her only child preceded her in death a number of years ago.

The funeral takes place from her late residence this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o'clock to the Union Cemetery then to the Methodist church for service. Rev. Eifert will conduct the service.
