  Helen Fern Skidmore, on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Summit Place Nursing Home, Owen Sound. Helen Fern (Bolender) Skidmore in her 81st year formerly of Elmira. Dear mother of Bill and Barb Holzworth of Palmerston, Bruce and Marlene Holzworth of Kitchener, Doug Holzworth of Stettler, Alberta, Verna Holzworth of Airdrie, Alberta, Kenny and Loris Skidmore of Toronto. Also lovingly remembered by her seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Helen was the last surviving member of her family, having been predeceased by her parents, Edward and Angeline (Snider) Bolender, her twin brother, Cecil, her brothers, Morley, George, Roy, Gordon, Lorne and Russell and her sisters, Florence, Marjorie, and Gladys. At Helen's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral home visitation. A graveside service for family and friends will be held in the Elmira Union Cemetery, on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 11 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
