- REV. K. J. MACDONALD
Rev. Kenneth J. MacDonald was the pastor of First Presbyterian Church, now First United Church, from 1912 to 1932. He came to Galt with his wife Rilla and his son Grant MacDonald from Montreal and took office in the church on August 31, 1912. Under his leadership membership in First Presbyterian Church more than doubled and in 1925 he led the congregation's move to become part of the United Church of Canada. He resigned in January 1932.
