- RUPPEL, Margaret M. (Mrs. Murray) - Peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Heritage House, St. Jacobs. Margaret (Young) Ruppel in her 90th year of Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Murray J. Ruppel (2002). Loving mother of Tom Ruppel of Uxbridge, Ross and Gene Ruppel of St. Jacobs, Jim Ruppel of Kitchener, and Linda and Dennis MacLeod of Stratford. Dear grandmother of Adam Ruppel and Sean Ruppel of Uxbridge, Kim and Derek Doidge of Waterloo, Chris Ruppel of Kitchener, Jeff and Kerri MacLeod of Simcoe and Trevor MacLeod of Toronto, and great-grandmother of Cassy and Erik Ruppel, Julia, Reagan and Tate MacLeod. Sister and sister-in-law of Robert and Doris Young of Kitchener and Lois Ruppel of Waterloo. Predeceased by her parents, Cora and Clarence Young and daughter-in-law, Karen Ruppel. Margaret was a life-long resident of Elmira, moving to Heritage House in 2005. She was a faithful member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Elmira. After raising her children, she worked for dentists Carbert and Shutsa until she retired. The family will received their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. At 9 a.m. today (Saturday), transfer will be made to St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Elmira for funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Richard Frey officiating, followed by cremation. Interment of cremated remains will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Elmira at a later date. In her memory, donations to St. Pauls Lutheran Church Accessibility Fund would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. The family appreciates the excellent and caring staff of Heritage House during her stay there.
