  Mrs. Albert Walton Passes - A well-known former Ayr resident, Mrs. Albert (Bert) Walton passed away on Sunday at the home pf her daughter, Mrs. Margaret Stewart of London, in her 70th year. The former Jean McAuley, she was born in Scotland. Following her marriage, they lived in Ayr for many years and later in London. They returned to Ayr following World War II and subsequently went to Paris, where her husband passed away. Mrs. Walton had since resided in London. While in Ayr she attended Knox United Church and was a member of Ayr Women's Institute. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Stewart, London, and Mrs. Max Mather (Dorothy), RR 2, New Hamburg; a son, Norman (Scotty) of London; a sister, Mrs. Roy Higgins of St. Thomas, and brothers, William, Robert, John, David, James and Loudy McAuley, all of London. Funeral service was held on Tuesday from the Evans Funeral Home, London, with interment In Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Mar 10 1966
