  BOEGEL, Olga Marie (nee Bauer) - Passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday August 27, 2009 in her 97th year. Olga was the loving wife of Philip Henry Boegel for 65 years who predeceased her in December 2005; a sister, Edna Rennie and a great-grandson, John Jeffrey Ernewein. Beloved mother of Karen Reinhardt (Dr. David) of Waterloo, Patricia Ernewein (Larry) of Mar, Ontario, Mary Ellen Squires (Carl) of Port Elgin and Joanne Boegel (Peter) of Kitchener. Dear grandmother of Lee Ann Reinhardt (Jeff), Christopher Reinhardt (Coleen), Kirsten Raithby (Dan), Jeffrey Ernewein (Dale-Ann), Lori Merlihan (Joe), Denise Acton (Kevin), Patrick Squires, Carla Young (Jeff), Andrew Squires (Courtney). Great-Grandmother of Elyse and Wesley Reinhardt , Lauren Raithby, Cassandra, Nicole, and Colin Merlihan, Alyson and Taylor Acton, Joshua Ernewein, Nollan Squires and Logan Young. Survived by a sister, Dorothy Mannion of Cambridge and a sister-in-law, Beatrice Paleczny of Waterloo. Olga was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a longtime member of St. Anne's RC Church. In her earlier years she enjoyed to be active in sports such as Badminton and Bowling; loved to travel with her husband, Philip and was active in the family business, Boegel Appliances. Mrs. Boegel's family will receive friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel , 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered in the funeral home this evening at 8: 30 p.m. Prayers will be recited on Saturday August 29th, 2009 at 10: 30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial from St. Anne's R.C. Church (268 East Avenue) Kitchener at 11 a.m. with Father Mark Sullivan as celebrant. Cremation to follow.
